If the weather is particularly cold and the mini excavator is shut down for a long time, drain the engine coolant.
1. Run at idle speed before turning off the engine. Wait until the cooling water temperature drops below 60°C and the water is not hot to your hands. Then turn off the engine and drain the water. If the cooling water is released prematurely, the body will suddenly shrink and crack when it is suddenly attacked by cold air when the temperature is high. When draining the water, the remaining water in the body should be drained completely to prevent it from freezing and expanding, causing the body to burst;
4. The low temperature in winter makes the fluidity of diesel oil deteriorate, the viscosity increases, and it is difficult to spray, resulting in poor atomization and worsening combustion, resulting in a decrease in the power and economic performance of the diesel engine. Therefore, light diesel oil with low freezing point and good ignition performance should be used in winter;
3. If the weather is particularly cold and the excavator is shut down for a long time, please drain the engine coolant. At the same time, in order to prevent the battery from feeding, the battery must be removed and stored in a warm place;
4. Start the engine once a month. If the antifreeze level and engine oil level are lower than the normal level, please add them to normal levels before starting. In cold weather, put the key in the preheating position until the preheating light comes on (repeat preheating multiple times), and then start the engine.
Unlike other equipment, small excavators will lose their original use value after a certain period of use. On the contrary, small excavators become more durable with use.
