Can a small excavator go up to the floor for construction?

Release Date:03.29.2023 Views: 381

With the development of mechanization, the role of small excavators has become more and more prominent. Now they are proficient in digging, crushing, and drilling, and they are not under the drawing. It is because the tailless design is small and exquisite that they can enter the elevator and even go up. Building construction has brought great convenience to our work and saved a lot of manpower and material resources.

Small excavators can go up to the floor for construction, and it is not illegal. Their fuselage design is relatively small, the turning radius is also small, and they have strong turning ability. The excavator demolishes the wall, and the concrete floor can bear the weight of the excavator, which will have a certain impact on the interior of the house, and the stability of the house will be damaged. It is not recommended to do this construction unless necessary.

When the floor is not very high, the excavator can climb to the roof with its own strength. First of all, the excavator starts digging from the first floor. Put the excavated waste cement and steel bars under the excavator, and walk along the building. Remember not to dig out all of them, and leave the pillars to avoid collapse. You can go up with the pads up. This method is generally not used and has certain risks.

You can also let the excavator climb up to the roof. In some high-rise buildings, the frame of each floor can form a "well" shaped structure. The construction personnel can use the integral cutting machine to cut the three sides of the "well" shape, and then use the oxygen cutting machine to cut the three sides slowly, forming a slope with the bottom layer. In this way, a platform is built, and the excavator can climb up layer by layer along this platform. That is to say, after cutting three sides of a well-shaped structure on the second floor, the overall structure falls to the first floor, forming a slope with the first floor. In order to ensure that the formed slope can withstand the weight of the excavator, construction personnel must reinforce the slope and place a layer of shockproof material on it.

After the excavator goes upstairs, the crawler belt should move on the load-bearing beam as a whole to avoid being directly pressed on the roof. The excavator chassis can be rotated 360 degrees to carry out demolition. Generally speaking, each excavator will be equipped with 2 additional workers to do auxiliary work. When the roof is demolished, the driver of the excavator first uses an oil hammer to drill the roof wall, and the workers who do auxiliary work use a gas cutter to remove the oil hammer. The steel bars to be processed are cut off, and finally the excavator is replaced with a bucket, which is often called a "digger", to process the demolished masonry. The masonry dug out by the excavator is generally thrown directly into the elevator shaft, which is more convenient.
