The size and model of excavators are classified according to tonnage
1. Micro excavators below 5 tons:
The mainstream models are 1.5-1.8 tons. The main users are municipal projects affected by the environment, greening and sewage discharge, and indoor renovation of some large buildings.
2. Small excavators below 15 tons:
The mainstream models are 5-8 tons. It is mainly used in municipal works, trench digging, construction in the factory area, gardens and other working conditions that require careful operation.
3. 15~35 tons are medium-sized excavators:
20-25 tons is the mainstream model, and it is also the most widely used model among all models. It can be used in almost all working conditions, such as municipal, earthwork, road construction, mining, and land reclamation, except that the site is limited and cannot be operated.
4. Large excavators above 35 tons:
Choose the model according to the demand for bucket capacity, the bigger the tonnage, the bigger the bucket. It is generally used in large-scale earthworks and open-pit mining and other working conditions.
