Long machines, operators with insufficient operating experience often have no countermeasures. There are two commonly used methods of installing tracks, and here I will explain them to you.
First: use a bucket
Using buckets for crawler installation is the most commonly used by experienced drivers, and it is also the fastest one, and it is relatively smooth to get started. The difficulty is to seize the right time and install quickly and accurately.
1) First of all, we must first remove the tensioning oil cylinder and drain the butter, keep the track in a loose state, and then make full use of the bucket and walking for installation according to the actual situation.
2) If the track of the excavator slides out, use the bucket to lift the track to the position of the guide wheel, and then rotate the drive wheel to easily put the track back to its original position.
3) If the track slides out of the track inwards, the bucket will be useless at this time. Generally, the old driver will use the wire rope to pull the track back to the guide wheel, and then rotate the driving wheel repeatedly. After several times, the track will basically be Can be installed back to the original position (the roller position needs to be installed by side jacking and idling track).
The first way is basically negligible for experienced drivers. After a few operations, the experience is quite experienced, but it is difficult for novices to learn, so I will introduce an easier way for you.
The second method: with the help of steel pipes
1) First of all, preparatory work such as dismantling the tensioning oil cylinder and putting butter must be done well, and then local materials are obtained, such as steel pipes and other tools of moderate length, if not, you can also use wooden sticks.
2) Next, use the principle of leverage, cleverly use the bucket to pin the steel pipe, back to squeeze out the butter, etc.; then use the steel pipe to straighten the chain at the drag sprocket.
3) Continue to pin the steel pipe with the bucket and use the rotating force to the limit, back slowly and you can hear the sound of clicking, repeat the above action until the crawler is installed back to its original position
No matter which method is used, when you are a beginner, you feel that the degree of difficulty is very high, and the operation is stagnant and you can't always install it in place. One trick is to install the position of the guide wheel and the driving wheel, and the track installation is more than half completed!
